"One Way Up"

Mixed media on reclaimed street sign

No matter how heavy the world becomes, there’s only one direction worth taking. The figure climbs through burden and rust, carrying the weight of persistence itself. Even when the light fades, he moves — because to rise is to live. In this street sign series, I merge street signage with Greek gods, collapsing two visual worlds—one built on order and instruction, the other on myth and archetype. The work balances structure and symbolism, authority and imagination.
